FreePascal (or FPC) is a 32-bit, multi-platform totally free pascal language compiler. On the website you can download the compiler, units contributed by other users, and other cool stuff. It also has special compatibility modes for Borland Pascal & Delphi, so you can use code designed for those compilers with small or even no changes. |

| The homepage of Thomas Schatzl, one of the very-important guys doing work on FreePascal, who has also authored many of the most valuable units available. The original CPU detection unit, the DirectX units for FPC, and also FreeType (truetype font support) are all available to us thanks to Tom's work. Check it out! |
